Georgia DECA's calendar of events provides many opportunities for involvement and participation at both the high school and college levels of the organization.
Competitions: Advertising Services, Buying & Merchandising, Entrepreneurship, Free Enterprise Economics, Marketing Math, Middle School Marketing and Selling. The top 10 scores (top 5 for Middle School Marketing) in each event will earn a slot to 2019 ICDC.
This fall GA DECA will offer a Professional Development Workshop and Officer Training for all GA DECA Advisors and Local Chapter Officers on Thursday, September 20th at the Georgia FFA-FCCLA Center in Covington. . . .
Once again we will host our DECA Fall Rally on Friday, October 12th at the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry, GA. Come hear a dynamic keynote message and participate in competitive events, get to know members from around the state and enjoy the Georgia National Fair!
Next year's Fall LDC will be held October 18-19, 2018 in Atlanta, GA. You can expect energetic pre-conference sessions by your Executive Officers, an inspiring opening session featuring a special presentation by our Community Service Project representative, hands-on leadership workshops, competitive events, and many other activities. All Fall LDC Housing will be handled by Georgia DECA.
Regional Events: Principles of Business Administration, Personal Financial Literacy Event& Individual Series Events
Showcase your leadership skills by participating in Region Competitive Events on December 6,7, 10 or 11. Online Testing will take place prior to the Region Competition. Events that will participate in online testing include: Principles of Business & Administration Events, Personal Financial Literacy Event, and Individual Series Events. Role plays will take place at Region Competition.

State Events: Team Decision Making, Integreated Marketing Campaign, Professional Selling
This year’s State Career Development Conference will be held February 14-16 at the Marriott Marquis Atlanta Hotel. This will provide a wonderful opportunity for students to shine as they compete among the best in the state in our competitive events program and executive officer elections. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in leadership workshops and trainings.
The DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC) is the highlight of the DECA year. Nineteen thousand high school students, advisors, businesspersons and alumni gather for several days of DECA excitement. This year’s ICDC will be held April 27-30, 2019 in Orlando, FL.
