Hi Georgia DECA!

I am Ella Wilkerson, your Executive President and a Senior at Houston County High School in Warner Robins, GA. I have been a DECA member for 4 years. I joined DECA to get more involved with my school and community. This past year, my chapter made slime at one of our chapter meetings, it was so fun! My favorite thing about DECA is the opportunity to network with people all around the world who share similar interests and passions for leadership! After high school, I hope to attend UGA and major in Marketing, to achieve my dream of working in the marketing department at Coca-Cola.

Hi Georgia DECA!

I am Amy Ndoye, your Vice President of Leadership and a Senior at North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, GA. I have been a DECA member for 7 years (started in middle school). I joined DECA because I wanted to get involved into school organizations early on and DECA sounded so cool and easy to get involved with. Each year, my chapter hosts an end of the year banquet where we recognize some of our most involved members, introduce the new officer team, play games, and award superlatives. My favorite thing about DECA is the connections and families you build within the organization! From the competition to the amazing leadership enhancing workshops, it has become a vital part of my life.

After high school, I would love to major in Finance.

Hi Georgia DECA!

I am Ava Stacker, your Vice President of Marketing and a Junior at Westlake High School in Atlanta, GA. I have been in DECA for 4 years (started in middle school). I joined DECA because I wanted to discover and dive deeper into my passion for speaking and problem solving. My chapter has hosted a Grammy night where we gave out superlatives to scholars of all grade levels and celebrate their accomplishments. My favorite thing about DECA is the skills you develop, I would have never been in this officer position without the abilities I earned from DECA. After high school, I plan to attend a 4 year university and major in Marketing Communications with a minor in Media Production.

Wendell Rogers
Wendell Rogers Vice President of Career Development

Hi Georgia DECA!

I am Wendell Rogers, your Vice President of Career Development and a Senior at Dunwoody High School in Dunwoody, GA. I have been in DECA for 4 years. I joined DECA because I instantly knew the people in our local chapter would provide a warm and welcoming environment for me, almost like a home. My chapter hit a new all-time high in membership by using DECA ducks to recruit new members. My favorite thing about DECA is getting to not only network with others across the state of Georgia but also people all over the United States, especially pin trading at ICDC.

After high school, I want to go to Georgia Tech or Emory to get a Business Administration Degree and then a Masters in Finance and work in the finance department, whether self employed or through an employer.
